This live performance of "Human Nature" holds a particularly special place in my heart. Captured back in January at Hestia Kitchen + Bar for The Shelf Concerts - a series modelled after NPR’s Tiny Desk with an artist-forward approach to live concerts - taking the stage that night set the momentum for everything that followed.

Arranging and performing one of my all-time favourite tracks from Michael Jackson’s catalog with this incredible band kicked off a transformative year. This release became a major catalyst for my growth, directly leading to an audience expansion of more than 3x over the past year. It marked a turning point where I stepped more fully into focusing on my original music and vision - a path that took me from this intimate performance to booking my own solo headlining tour and composing music for Red Bull BC One.

I am deeply grateful for how listeners have connected with this piece and thrilled to be sharing it for your consideration this voting season.
